Created in May 2008, the Distribution Board of Officers has as goals the union of management, reducing operational costs and incorporate strategic planning of the distribution companies of Eletrobras, enabling gains in scale and optimization of efforts. Eletrobras Amazonas Energia, Eletrobras Distribution Piauí, Eletrobras Distribution Alagoas, Eletrobras Distribution Roraima, Eletrobras Distribution Acre and Eletrobras Distribution Rondônia are under the management of the Board of Officers, which has a team of highly qualified officers, for, by means of the holding, contributing with their expertise and reputation for the efficiency and growth of each one of these six companies.

The Distribution Board of Officers is comprised by the chief executive officer Marcos Aurélio Madureira da Silva, who respond as president of all concessionaires, and by officers in the Financial, Management, Commercial, Planning and Expansion, Operation and Regulatory Affairs and Special Projects areas. Each company has a Board of Directors, comprised by six members, and an Audit Committee, with three members.

Marcos Aurélio Madureira da Silva
Marcos Aurélio Madureira da Silva has a Degree in Electrical Engineering by Federal University of Minas Gerais (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - UFMG), with Postgraduate Degree in Economic Engineering by Fundação Dom Cabral and MBA (Master of Business Administration) by Ibmec. He worked for 27 years at Cemig holding several supervision positions, including, in 1998 company’s Chief Distribution Officer. He further worked for ten years in Energisa group holding a position in several offices, working, until April 2011 as Chief Operating and Business Officer of Energisa Soluções. Marcos Aurélio Madureira has also been a member of the Board of Directors of Brazilian Electric System National Operator (Operador Nacional do Sistema Elétrico - ONS) between 1999 and 2000.

Financial Director
Ronaldo Ferreira Braga
Graduation in Economy at Maranhão State Federal Univertsity. Post-graduation in Development Planning at Núcleo de Altos Estudos da Amazônia (Naea) and in Financial Management at IAG of PUC in Rio de Janeiro. Employed in the electrical sector since 1983, he was the chief of Financial Department for 12 years, holding, right after, the position of Administrative director and, after that, of Financial-Economical and Market Relationship director of Companhia Energética do Maranhão (Cemar). He has also held the positions of Maranhão State Industry Commerce and Tourism secretary, president and Administrative and Financial director of Maranhão State Water and Sewage Department (Caema), Institutional Relations director of Banco do Estado do Maranhão (BEM) in the pre-privatization management and Ibama Administrative and Financial director. In May 2008, accepted the Commercial Management and, from March 2010 on, the Financial Management of Eletrobras energy distribution companies.

Luís Hiroshi Sakamoto
Graduation in Physics at University of Brasília, with Master’s in Nuclear Energy at UFRJ (Rio de Janeiro State Federal University). Before that, he used to hold the position of Planning, Management and Environment director of Eletrobras Eletronuclear. From May 2008 on, he assumed the Management Department of Eletrobras energy distribution companies.

Pedro Mateus de Oliveira
Graduation in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at Minas Gerais State Pontifical Catholic University. He worked in Minas Gerais S/A (Cemig) for 27 years holding the positions of Planning, Bidding and Contracting superintendent, also performing in material logistics and storage and with national and international equipment acquisition. From July 2008 on, he became in charge of Eletrobras energy distribution companies centralized purchases management. In April 2010, he assumed the Commercial Department of these distribution companies.

Leonardo Lins de Albuquerque
Graduation in Electrical Engineering, with Master’s in Production Engineering, both at Pernambuco Federal University. He was the director of Energy and Environment of the holding Light S/A, and the companies Light Serviços de Eletricidade S/A, Light Energia S/A, Itaocara Energia Ltda and Lightger Ltda. Before that, he was the Eletrobras Chesf Engineering and Construction director. From May 2008 on, he assumed the Planning and Expansion Department of Eletrobras energy distribution companies.

Tarcísio Estefano Rosa
Graduate in Electrical Engineering at Federal University of Santa Catarina, with specialization in Quality and Productivity at the University of South of Santa Catarina. At Eletrobras Eletrosul, he held the positions of member and team leader of electrical maintenance of Jorge Lacerda thermal power plant, from 1979 up to 1989, manager of Jorge Lacerda B thermal power plant, from 1990 up to 1998, and manager of the Maintenance Centre of Thermal Power Plants, from 1992 up to 1998. He was also manager of the Department of Operation and Maintenance of Gerasul, from 1999 up to 2000, and of the Department of Energy Trading of Tractebel Energia and Tractebel Energia Comercializadora, from 2000 up to 2008. In 2010, he became Director of Generation and Transmission and of Operation of Eletrobras Amazonas Energia.

Regulatory Affairs and Special Projects Director
Pedro Carlos Hosken Vieira (provisional)
Graduation in Management at Face/Fumec (MG), with several specialization courses in Brazil and abroad. Company employee at Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais S/A (Cemig), since August 2003, where used to hold the position of controller. From May 2008 on, he is the Financial Director of Eletrobras energy distribution companies: Eletrobras Amazonas Energia, Eletrobras Distribution Roraima, Eletrobras Distribution Rondônia, Eletrobras Distribution Acre, Eletrobras Distribution Piauí and Eletrobras Distribution Alagoas. In April 2010, he started holding the positions of Eletrobras Chief Distribution Officer and, concurrently, CEO of the Eletrobras distributors.
